Had a little thought about Tesco price check

Of course it compares price on the whooooooole basket so

    2 Pukka pies at Tesco = £2
    Same at Morrison's = £4

Cathedral city at Tesco = £4
    Same at Morrison's = £2

= same basket price = no discount

But if you put Tesco offers through as seperate sale

Then you can £2 discount of the rest of your baskbasket provided you still have 10 items of course

Any one tried this at Tesco checkout yet?

I do think Tesco must have figured this but not sure how they could stop it

Maybe sports consequence credit card sales? Maybe use different card

Ditto club card sales? So maybe don't use card on special offers

I don't think they would be inclined to stop it, the 10 comparable items needed is where they have it sewn up

but there is people that do targeted shops just for the offers

use a website like www.mysupermarket.co.uk to check out your shopping list before you go to T's and shop accordingly. I tend to do two baskets. One with 10 or 11 items that will compare to which ever other supermarket I'm seeking to use their offer pricing against and another for items that are cheaper in T's.
