Community Work Placement Information.

I'm due to attend an Work Coach appointment on the 11th November at the Jobcentre to be referred to Seetec to undertake the Community Work Placement.

My Work Coach has informed me via telephone on the 6th November l won't be on the Help to Work Scheme in it's entirity but will be eligible to undertake this part of it.

I've seen a lot of information on the internet about it being Workfare and signing under duress by Vi Coactus then your signature on the Jobcentre paperwork and refusing to sign any Seetec paperwork whilst participating there.

How realistic would this information be though ?.

I wondered if anyone has any experiences of this and how it went etc.

Thanks.

CWP is mandatory scheme although there are ways of getting out of it and some good tips. Have a look at boycottworkfare.org.
