in Cutting tax
Wondering if anyone can help! I work in Denmark and live in the uk (offshore) so I have to pay my tax to Denmark. I started in Denmark around May this year but worked for the same company in Scotland prior to this and paid PAYE tax. The company operate and equalisation scheme (worldwide) so that everyones pay and tax is equal to uk rates. I'm currently applying for a mortgage and the lender has noticed on my payslip that my "taxable pay" is decreasing monthly by around £500. I've never noticed it! I've no idea why but have to provide an explanation! Has anyone any ideas about this stuff??

Is decreasing each month or has decreased once?
Probably best ask your employer to explain. They must be used to this.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Currency fluctuation?0

Paid in sterling so no fluctuations. And has decreased every month since starting work there. My take home remains the same, just the taxable amount on my slip changes0

I think you'll need to find someone who understands the Danish tax system if you're looking for any clues - better to ask your employer really.0
