  • Take him to a sandy seaside and get him to walk in the wet sand by the sea. This cured mine when I was about 15.
  • Or a chiropodist. They can put cream on it which kills it. I preferred the beach cure though :)

See your GP. It can be frozen off. Usually done by practice nurse.

Apologies but I can never spell Ver##©© and predictive text didn't help! I have had one for years and had it frozen several times each time it returned. I researched simply because I was annoyed at myself for having it for so long and found that salicylic acid is in most preparations

Long story short I used corn caps and the Ver##©© disappeared after a few caps.

    Hope that helps.
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.
  • There's also Wartner and other freeze off over the counter products. . . .bazuka also have one called sub zero. These generally work quicker and are more effective. Remember normal bazuka usually take 1-3 months to fully get rid of them, and you should also use an emery board to file off dead skin

  • When I had 2 stubborn verruca's and had tried everything, including painful freezing. I went to a chiropodist that did something called "Dry Needling" more and more people are doing this now, and it got rid of mine.

Try googling dry needling in your area on google, and I am sure some results will come up local to you.

Salactol is a relatively cheap salicylic acid option ~£2.50.

Cover with duct tape to deprive it of air. Apparently banana skins work too.
  • be careful how much you treat them as you can damage the skin around it causing scar tissue to form which can be more painful than the Verruca itself, i had stubborn ones for year tried everything (that's when i was told to be careful) mine eventually dropped off on their own.
  • There is no one 100% treatment, but it can be cured by using duct tape.
But can take some good amount of time.
