Can anyone tell me what it the best method to clean mold from the seals around a freezer door, it keeps coming back if I clean it with hot soapy water, think bleach would rot them.

I think that the thing you need to do is make sure that you dry the seals well when you have cleaned them. Try using some white vinegar and water and then when all the mould has gone, use a hairdryer to really get the seal dry, particularly in the crease. It will still come back eventually, but should take much longer.Jane

Wow, the toothpaste worked really well, feel much better about the freezer now, was thinking it might have to buy a new one.0

Milton should work - it is a bleach, but if it's safe with baby-bottle teats, it should be safe on fridges.0

How do you remove the mould marks left on the seals of a fridge freezer.
A friend was moving and didn't have room to take the fridge freezer from her garage, so she 'freecycled' to me.
Got it home gave it a freshen up as it was clean anyway but for the mould on the door seals. Any OS ways to deal with this problem.
Thanks in advanceSW -5, -1,0 -
