You are small fry i know one person who has had 10 LTD companies, he knows to play Companies House like a fiddle, he does not send his accounts in when Companies House ask for a set of accounts they then inform him he will be struck off the he registrar for non compliance, this is exactly what he wants.
Companies house basically sweep it under the carpet rather than inform HMRC, I have reported two former directors of a company that was sunk with deliberate intent, insolvency agency Action Fraud the Poice directly the EU, HMRC it's a joke.
For that advert were HMRC say that they are closing in on people who do not declare their earnings" what a joke"
never again will I bother again reporting someone it's a waste of time, you will never know if the information you gave was fruitful unless he/she is named and shamed.
The only way I will know is if HMRC will ask us to be witnesses which we have agreed to and they are jailed, but I am not going to hold my breath,HMRC do have the ability to restore a company but only " if it's in the public interest" that line is a get out of jail card they use when it's too complicated.
The chances of getting caught are in favour of the crooked, never thought I would say it but HMRC are understaffed, the Police understaffed in the big picture what you have done if anything is nothing to what is going on by people like who play the sytem year in year out.
