Inside Tesco -- you may have clubcard vouchers you didn't know about

Hello everyone,
I work inside Tesco and have access to all kinds of interesting snippets; would you like to hear some of them?
I'll only be able to visit at certain times of the day as I am sure Mr T will be desperate to find out who I am.
First one then. You may have clubcard vouchers that you know nothing about :j
If you have lost or misplaced your Christmas clubcard vouchers from two years ago then they expired on October 31st, but this does not mean you have lost them. Over 5% of all clubcard vouchers expire and are never used, that is millions of £'s.
Our friends on the clubcard helpline can check your account and see if you have any, they won't appear when you log in to my clubcard account, but the boys and girls on the helpline can use their systems to check this for you.
So what are you waiting for? Call them on 0800 59 1688 or if you are calling from a mobile use 0330 123 1688 now.
Don't be put off by any pre-recorded electronic message when you dial, the only way you can check this is if you talk to them. If you get disconnected then just call right back. Tesco don't want to tell you this as they don't want you calling them up and they count on you not spending all of the vouchers, but this is your money that you have earned and I don't want you to miss out.
After all you can double your vouchers up at the moment through boost so you could be missing out on an early Christmas present.
Remember this will not show on my clubcard account! If anyone has any luck then post some messages below and encourage others. Good luck and over the coming weeks I'll let you know of many more little tips.

Only 5%. That's not bad. I thought it would be much more. I've lost a few in my time, never used them and have no intention of chasing them up. They are only a few pounds.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Only a few pounds but worth up to four times their value on some boost, two times their value on instore and direct items.0

Insider - I think, you need to have another look on NGC (as memory serves) Vouchers go out four times a year, Feb., May, Aug, and Nov., - they aren't any vouchers that would expire 31st Oct!
Vouchers, that sent out two years ago, yes will expire soon at the end of Nov., so currently can be seen on MCA - I you physically collect vouchers I always advocate them being arranged in date order - oldest on top.
Contrary, to what you suggest - Tesco do what you to use the vouchers - it gets you back in the store.
When at the end of November, vouchers expiry, by all means ring the helpline, but don't delay - it'll vanish from their view in weeks, not months!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Apologies I am passing the clubard information from another insider (I work in dot com not clubcard).
I was meant to add: this is if you have multiple accounts (which many people do but do not realise).
I did get the date wrong, the vouchers expire end of November not October, but if you have multiple accounts you could have lots of vouchers sitting there that will never show on your my clubcard account. The only way to check is to call up the helpline.
Just to clarify catman, Tesco do in fact account for a percentage of vouchers not being used and use that money elsewhere.
There are a few of us who are going to pass you information but we will use one account to minimise the risk of being caught. We will publish details of how to work the promotions to your advantage.0 -
You don't even need to phone Clubcard.

I think the OP was under the mistaken impression that at the time of the 'post' it would be out of date, in which case you wouldn't see it.
Some, people have more than one Clubcard account, which are not linked together, so a separate Tesco dotcom account would be needed with a different email address, to be able to see each account in MCA.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
If you have multiple accounts that have been joined together in the past then your vouchers will not show on my clubcard account.
The only way to check is to contact them.
Many people have had accounts joined together in the past, sometimes just when you get a replacement card they did this without telling you.0 -

That's not true, particularly for multiple or joined accounts.0 -
This isn't really insider information, there's even an MSE article on it.
Welcome to MSE OP, do you have any snippets that aren't already common knowledge?0
