Inside Tesco -- you may have clubcard vouchers you didn't know about

My experience is that they do everything in their power NOT to pay up.
I asked them recently to unexpire some expired vouchers and got this - even after sending them the actual numbers of the vouchers, which I'd kept a record of. Unfortunately the vouchers themselves have been lost. Any decent company would have dealt with this sympathetically (we're only talking about a few pounds) - but not Tesco.
No problem - we save infinitely more now by shopping at Aldi as a direct result of their meanness.

I think the OP was under the mistaken impression that at the time of the 'post' it would be out of date, in which case you wouldn't see it.
Some, people have more than one Clubcard account, which are not linked together, so a separate Tesco dotcom account would be needed with a different email address, to be able to see each account in MCA.
yes i have lots! used to get s many feee ponts pr ndw crd so signed up several times so may have lost points! ta op! keep the useful info coming! greatly appreciated!0 -

no they don't!and it's a real pain to log into accounts now - used to be easy! tesco is definitely tightening up. used to be able to use any clubcard poins on purchases/rewards but now cannot combine them - can only use one card per order. we used to combine family ones and get bigger things!0 -

The vouchers have two years until they expire, why should Tesco pay out for expired vouchers?0 -
The vouchers have two years until they expire, why should Tesco pay out for expired vouchers?
Maybe because the person who created this thread said they would?
Or perhaps because there's no reason for an expiry date apart from the obvious one of taking back something the customer earned?
Or even because Tesco needs all the goodwill it can get at the moment, and hacking off regular customers isn't really the best way of going about it?
Take your choice. :cool:0
