No tenancy agreement

I am just about to put in my bankruptcy petition, but I don't have a written tenancy agreement. Do I need to arrange one, or can my bank statements be proof? I rent a house from my brother, and have a lodger who is a friend.

I didn't need to produce mine until several weeks after I became bankrupt, in fact it was after my OR interview. Mine is a very informal amateurish looking one (mainly because my landlord is very informal and amateurish!!!) but it was good enough. Ask your brother to draw one up (or you do it for him) The OR told me that if I have an AST and as long as my rent wasn't included in the bankruptcy (mine was totally up to date) then she wouldn't need to contact the landlord.
You just need to put the landlord's details on the form for now. None of the other bits of evidence are needed until later, when asked for.0 -
