Can I freeze these?

Hi all, impulsively to brought some of these this evening then when I got them home remembered my grand plan to have jacket potatoes and salad for dinners this week.

What's the best way to freeze or preserve them? Or is it a lost cause?

Yes freeze them as is. No need to do anything.

    Root veg freezes quite well.

edit: I hope you didn't pay £2 for 500 grams of veg. Carrots are 50p/kg times 2, parsnips are £1/kg times 2 and beetroot are £3/kg times 1. You could have created 10 500 gram trays for £6 or 60 pence each.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Lol, partner snuck them into the trolley trying to be helpful for my healthy eating kick. If I like them will definitely make my own next time!

    Thanks

Or if you are like me and cook loads of veg (I make soup with it and use it as the base) if you look for the value veg you can often find the precut stuff quite cheaply. Not every time but some times the price can rival that of the fresh non-pre-cut stuff.
