Large polyethylene foam blocks?

Hey I'm wondering if there's anywhere where I can get closed cell polyethylene foam blocks (like that stuff they use to package big electronics). Ideally it'd need to be 1m x 1m x 10mm or over. If you're curious I'm trying to make a scary Halloween costume following this process: {can't post the video but it's basically a costume head carved out of stacked foam blocks} so I'd need several blocks at least. I know I know it's a bit late now but there's always next year! :j
I've asked around all the DIY and craft shops but they're all at a loss. One of them mentioned looking online so I've looked online but so far I'm not convinced that I'd be getting the best deal for something that's a right pain to get rid of when you've actually got it. Some places are asking £16 and I'm sure I got quoted £30 and even £60 by one place...
I'm not too fussed about paying for it but it's my first time trying anything like this so I'm understandably unwilling to spend a small fortune on something that I could mess up pretty easily... and it wouldn't hurt to hunt around for the best deal first right? I hate to sound like I'm being cheap but it'd be great if I could get hold of some scraps, even if it's still priced, mostly because I'd rather reuse something... considering it's probably a big pollutant in the first place
ps sorry if this is in the wrong forum i checked all the rules and stickies

Try Dunelm. I saw some foam blocks in there some time ago for seating.0

Oh yeah I was looking at that same stuff the other day! There's a Dunelm near by, problem is that it doesn't say what kind of foam it is, I think it's upholstery foam? I've been told it decays after a few years and I wouldn't doubt that after seeing the state my granddad's old couch x) ... also just noticed that the first comment says it's a rip off0
