Lion droppings - no I mean it.
Apparently the smell scares off the fox ...
... then again maybe a fox is better than a lion !!
(Seriously though you can buy the stuff somewhere on the internet by mail order and it might work).

I have also heard the Lion droppings theory. Never knew if it is an urban myth and people cashing in, or not.
The local council vermin control officer might help.0 -
or animal rights people...it's probably hiding from the horse and hounds...RSPCA they might be able to re-home it...is a family or just 1...:D
Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

Cos it's vermin. It's just a big orange fluffy tailed rat.
I say shoot it.0 -
The most effective method -- and possibly the only one that actually works -- is a Contech Scarecrow. I've got one and it's bl**dy brilliant. You fit it on a hose and if any foxes come in the garden it detects them and squirts them with a jet of water.
I used to like foxes, but since one went after my hens I've veered towards the dressing up in red and chasing them about with packs of dogs camp.0 -

Hi, I've heard that vinegar, liberally sprinkled in any places you see 'traces' of the furry fiend can put them right off. You need to clear up and dispose of any 'calling cards' they may have left before you do it. Can vouch for this tip as it worked in my garden. Good luck from jandy0

If you have a zoo anywhere near they will probably sell lion or tiger poo, I believe both work well on both foxes and cats ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

We have foxes. Unless you keep poultry what's the problem?
They keep the rabbits down here. Rabbits are a far greater problem for us than foxes.
If you want to get rid of them https://www.foxproject.org.uk might be able to help.0
