Angard/Royal Mail Mess up!

Ok here goes.I applied for a job vacancy Casual worker over christmas through an online employment site. I start getting emails from a company called Angard who say i've made it to the next stage and invite me to book an interview which I attended. The problem being some how I ended up in A royal Mail interview and was offered casual work(I wasn't aware at this point!) I got offered some work and was given a start date and told it was 40 hours a week.) I then recived another email from Angard claiming I never attended the interview which I obviously did. Now neither Angard nor Royal Mail seem to know or actually care to tell me what exacly has happened!I also handed of id documents and no one appears to know where they have gone!

Really fuming with the whole thing now. Have been cab, but they didnt get much further than I did as Angard were very uncooperative.

Has anyone experienced anthing like this. I never actually though a company like this would act in this manner!

    Angard handle RM temp recruitment.

Have you told them when/ where you attended the interview?
  • Yep what we think happened my interview was booked for the mail office in Exeter.Angard are claiming it was at a different time to the time stated on the email they sent me and I somehow ended up in a royal mail interview (No seem to know a thing about that) Angard are claiming that the shift I was offered is not in a location they deal with and royal mail chucking me back to them.Someone knows something but is not saying!!
  • Yes no one seems to want to deal with it
