Pantry inventory - web based or excel

I was wondering if anyone had an excel document or know of a web based way to store your inventory of your pantry that states use by dates etc

Before I start to try and create something which won't end up great I thought I would ask in case someone wanted to share

Thanks

  • I have a basic inventory but I don't faff about with UB dates.
I just have a good system of rotation, besides I have eaten things over a year out of date in my pantry with no problems.
I write the dates on top of the tin using permanent marker, which is much easier to see especially now I have failing sight.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I think you're right, there must be something out there - please share when you find it?

I would imagine that food stores better here than in Oz, simply because of the environmental temperature and smaller variety of creepy crawlies that abound.
