Sadly, probably not. It is up to you to pay attention to the court papers and fight it during the process if applicable. You're stuck with them for the next 6 years until they disappear off the credit file.

Dont you want to get rid of the car finance either?

If the real debt figure is just shy of £9K and you do have £2K spare a month, it will take you until March 1st to pay it off. That should be no sweat at all.

Hello the car finance, s are not showing up on any of the credit checks we've done, with experian, noodle, clear and equifax. Am I safe to assume these have fallen off due to statute barring?. I am also in the process of now contacting the debt companies to negotiate payment. I will also pay off the ccj, s and will take a risk at going through set-aside as have nothing to loose. I feel I might have enough personal and social reasons to make a case.

Hello have more questions, but hesitant to ask now as am either asking too much, or other members are busy as usual being near festive time.
  • Users on here are usually happy to hel where they can, but most are just trying to be helpful and no one here has the full picture. I have no experience on most of the things you are asking, for instance, but can tell you that it's stupid if you are paying interest on any credit cards while you have £15k in savings. It may be worth speaking to a debt charity over the phone and they can offer more advice, we are guessing based in your guesses.

I would also say it seems unlikely that just because a debt is not appearing on an Online search that it can be ignored, especially if you are aware of issues caused by house moves over a short period,of time.

Ok, you seem to be going around in circles here, let's just reign the horses in for one moment.
For a debt to be statute barred, you must not of made a payment, or formally acknowledged it in writing, for any period of six years, if that applies to any of your debts, that are not subject to a CCJ, then you should send the statute barred letter, available here :

    http://moneyawarecouk.c.presscdn.com/wp-content/uploads/Statute-barred-template-letter1.pdf

This does not apply to any debt were court action has been taken, and a CCJ has been registered.
