where to advertise for home workers

Hello, I work for a small business and we are trying to find parents/local people to promote our product in schools, colleges, uni's. Its a commission based payment system, but can pay very well. Thing is I am not getting any responses from local papers - I have also tried netmums, where do you all look for home work? Where is best to place an ad? Would you look in the job centre for work like this? Any ideas please

There are so many of these work-at-home things that are nothing more than scams, a bit like stuffing envelopes. Many people even if they're looking for work they've learnt to ignore them.
Perhaps the only way you'll get workers is word-of-mouth. Once you get a couple it may take off.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Do you think it would help if I didnt mention home working? If we put out an ad saying we wanted casual part time workers?

I look for home work on here and The Money Shed website, but I would not say what you are offering is genuine home work.
I think the fact it is commission based sales would put a lot of people off. There are lots of genuine work from home companies that offer non sales type work. They are also not really home workers if they have to leave the house to sell or promote a product!
Be honest in your advertising and don't mention home working at all. I do see these types of ads on gumtree and local facebook pages.0 -
Commission based work isn't a job and I suspect many people would avoid responding to an advert because of that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
