How long do you leave it to chase a prize

Options
Just after some help as i've not been comping for long.

I won the below competition

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5332331

I was contacted straight away and sent them my address on 14th Oct, there is no details on the T's & C's to how long it will take to receive your prize.

Should I chase it yet or should I leave it a bit longer?

I was going to buy this for my partner for Christmas so am so chuffed that I won it, I just want it in my hand now so I know I definitely won't have to buy it.

Thanks in advance for your opinions

Ashley xx

You should wait for around 28 days ... I wouldn't bother "seriously" chasing them until around the 14th November, but you can give them a wee prod in the meantime.

If the T&C's don't say then the official guidelines are prizes should be received "within 30 days".

Unless it's perishable and is purported to have been sent out then a month.

I won 140 pansies from Saga, after a fortnight I politely chased, they claimed it had gone missing in the post, Jersey plants were more honest and told me a rogue delivery person had offed a lot of parcels and they only realised when people started chasing.

Lovely plants btw way now all planted out for some winter colour.
