I have a letter from Platform a few months ago about them messing the first payment of my mortgage and then another letter a few months after another letter to tell me of the refund of the rip off late payment fees they have been charging. can these guys get anything right
I called the number to ask where the refund is and compensation but was fobbed off. would be interesting to know if anyone had the same letters0 -
I think anyone who has or had a mortgage from co-op platform or their other brands should call and enquire about this. lady on phone from ombudsman also told me that they get a few calls regarding their problems. the no. i got with my letter to call is 017522366330

I rang the number again and was told that they work for many companies like platform, jpmorgan, mas and deal with mortgage review and refunds. sounds like a scam to me. anyone had letter from other companies regarding mortgage refund with a similar phone number from 01752?0

I redeemed my Platform Mortgage this time last year. A couple of weeks back a letter came out of the blue to my new address.
It said when I first took out the Platform mortgage my first payment (about 4 years ago) was messed up due to capital and interest being charged or something along those lines. Attached to the letter was a cheque for £151 which it said included the statutory annual interest.
Hope this helps0 -
Thanks for your reply WillyWonga, apparently there is a small office in plymouth and they call themselves mortgage business review team and they give out money to platform, jp morgan, mas , co op mortgage customers for all different mistakes on the accounts. they have different phone numbers but answered by same people, another number 01752236644. if you have any of these accounts might be worth calling and asking if you are due some money.0

Its a claims management company, all of your posts seem to be in some way related to this thread/company.
For anyone who has complaints about their mortgage, speak to the lender directly. You do not need to have a third party company take a fee and/or part of any settlement figure.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Yes ACG, I am new and have only started with this thread. Have logged my complaint with ombudsman, lets see what happens.0

called a manager who told me that they work for a company called wms in plymouth and apparently they have small team who are reviewing and redressing lots of mortgages. he was not a part of this team but he told me that they manage co-op mortgages including platform, mas, verso and also third party mortgages which co-op bank sold to other banks including jp morgan rbs hsbc etc etc.
he also said that many people are going to get back the late payment fees, redemption charges from this small team and anyone who has a mortgage should call them on 01752 236633 and ask if they are due a refund. So come on people, its time to get our back on the banks!!0 -

Western Mortgage Services (WMS) is mortgage processing business based in Plymouth. It was part of the Co-Op Group, until they recently sold it to Capital plc.
I believe that the explanation you were given is correct.0
