Don't you just hate it when.. on first glance it looks like an easy 3 or 4 entries and then the last step opens another 20 plus options
I usually give up then!

You don't have to do ALL the options. Mostly I just do a few of the easier ones unless it specifies you MUST do all in which case I do none and reverse out.;)0

The ones that really get me going are those where you think " oh this is a nice little prize " You start and are then faced with about 500 entries (slight exaggeration, but feels like it) to follow all their blogger friends on every social media platform available to man0

I only every do the visit facebook page, or like on Twitter. Can't be bothered with the rest. Maybe its why I don't win these ones!I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0

One of my biggest dislikes in comping is rafflecopter and gleam. Both one and the same really. Never do them. 30 entries liking many pages and twitter pages all for a £2.99 bottle of wine sometimes. I avoid them like the plague unless the prize is very high value. But i avoid most blog comps anyway. Too easy to rig.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

I've never really understood the negativity towards blogs, yeah there is an initial bit of effort involved while you like BLOG X on twitter, facebook, instagram etc, but then they are liked and next time you enter one of their comps you just need to put your usernames inYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

For me personally its because of the multiple amount of tweeting and liking for prizes worth next to nothing but also was discovered that a few blogger comps run by small individual blogs were being won by other bloggers and if you looked hard enough there was a link of some sort between the blogs. I have entered some of those run by large companies for high value prizes but never on one of the thousands of stepford wives blogs run by women telling us how to put mascara on or what we should wear. Think i've worked that out at my age lolAugust-September 2017: Lots of stuff

I love raffles and gleams and find the majority of bloggers are lovely! Everyone is entitled to their own opionions though. I don't mind retweeting for prizes I wish to win, however, I have also won a few raffles/gleams when I have only entered once.:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I've never really understood the negativity towards blogs,
A few reasons without thinking too hard are - some blogs
have cheap tat and/or used prizes
have friends/fellow bloggers selected as winners for decent prizes
do not appear to select a winner
have prizes that fail to arrive
state they will not select a comper as a winner
without stating it will not select a comper as a winner
etc etc.
The majority are almost certainly legit but with so many blogs in the first place even a relatively small percentage makes quite a large number of duff ones.0 -

I meant regarding the effort involved - as in my eyes it's no different to registering for a website, but fair point regarding the other points you make, you do get that with other comps as well though like facebook draws etc just seems a bit more rife in blogs. I have noticed it tends to be beauty blogs that are more cliquey/anti comperYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I've had reasonably good success with blogs and from my experience the bloggers have been lovely with prizes arriving very quickly.I try not to get bogged down with how/who/if the winner has been selected and delete the bookmark to the raff/gleam as soon as ones ended. I do genuinely enjoy reading many blogs and commenting when I have the time, particularly the beauty ones so like to think I do give something back. I try to run through my blog lovin feed at least a couple times a week and now have a few favourites.
I am more selective now in what I enter otherwise it takes me too long to get through my list of daily entries. For me its not about the value of the prize, more the quality. I get just as much enjoyment out of something small that I consider a treat. I wont enter for any old tat now just because its beauty, jewellery or make up related.0
