If I want to know what credit agency, e.g. experian, credit credit, etc a company uses when assessing me how do I go about finding out.

Are the company obliged to let me know?

    You will have to search the forum for it but there is a thread listing which agency lenders/companies use.

    Please take it with a pinch of salt - we all shop & change to the best deal, I'm sure the banks do the same.

    I recently applied for a loan with Tesco Bank and they used Callcredit for the hard search.
    It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
