Claiming Mortgage Exit Fees

I'm starting to claim for my past mortgage exit fees. I think I have 5 in the past 6 years for 2 properties. I don't think I have the paperwork for some of these. Does anyone know if I can get that information from the mortgage provider?
Also 2 of these have been from woolwich. Should I write to them for a redemption statement or to Barclays now that they have been taken over?
You help is very much appreciated. TIA

I just phoned Natwest up today, and within 5 minutes i had £140. I did not even have the account number.
Woolwich/Barclays have a dedicated line for this:- 0800 0234180. Give them a ring. Its really easy, as they have already agreed to repay the money with the FSA.
Barclays/Woolwich are also giving 4% interest.

Thanks Techspec. I just £82 back within a couple of minutes! I'll need to go and read the mortgage papers again to see if this is the correct amount as I did pay £250. They said it is the difference between the amount quoted at time of mortgage and the amount charged at redemption. Is this correct?
Anyway chuffed at getting £82 back so quickly. I've now got 3 more to chase!

Yes, you can only claim back the difference between the amount on the original paperwork and the amount you paid when you changed mortgages.
In many cases you could be entitled to nothing if the figures are the same.0 -
Thanks for confirming KTF.
