Win a Car??

Hi Guys,
I wonder if you could advise me ...
I keep seeing "Win a Car" links on websites and Facebook. When you click the link you have to fill in your details like Name, Email, Phone Number, DOB, Postcode. I haven't filled any in as I'm a bit dubious about handing over my personal details. Are they really as easy as that to enter? Is there really a prize Car? Will I get spammed?
Thanks.

  • Thanks for the tip. :)

Would that not invalidate the entry though?

    Thanks.

Probably if they are going to contact you by phone, but at least you would never know you had lost out on a win.
  • It depends on the website. Stick to the competitions posted on MSE and you should be fine.

Some survey sites use it as a ploy, but there are other genuine comps too.
