Chef & manager restaurant, newtownards.

Does anyone know what is going on at the Chef & Manager Restaurant in High Street, Newtownards? I. Have been past the premises over the last two Saturday mornings and the shutters are down. There is a 'To Let' board close to the entrance but I didn't get a chance to have a good look at it. I really hope that they are not closed down. We have eaten there quite a few times in the last two or three months, and always had lovely meals. The staff are excellent also. I had noticed that there were not a lot of people in the premises which is a real shame. Fingers crossed that if they are currently closed, it is only a temporary measure.

Thanks dmxdave. That is great news. Maybe they do not open until lunchtime. It is a great place to eat.

No problem, I hadn't heard of it before even though I live in the area. When I saw the title of your thread I thought it was someone advertising for staff

It's opposite Conway Square at the junction of South Street (the road for Comber). Would recommend it. Haven't been disappointed yet. They also do a 20% or 25% discount up to certain times during the week. I'm not sure of the details, possibly Mon - Thurs. BTW I do not have any connection with them just for the record

I think its a husband & wife team. He the Chef, her the Manager
