Jamie Oliver BBQ marinade?

Options
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone remembered or wrote down the recipe for Jamie Olivers BBQ marinade last night? I never think to tape the show as most of his recipes don't appeal to me, but the BBQ he did with the ribs, chicken and lamb looked delicious...anyone???

Thanks
Fay

If I remember rightly you have to bash cloves, cumin, fennel seeds, black pepper and salt in a pestle and mortor. roughly chop herbs, garlic, orange rind. mix it all with the wet ingretients.
Make sure you score the meat before you rub this bbq mixture on it. then put into oven for 1 1/4 hours(covered with foil) then onto bbq to crisp up.
looks lovely and I will be definailty trying it.

Thanks Linzi - I had written the recipe down then forgot where I'd put it! It does look delicious. I think this latest Jamie series is brilliant!

Woo hoo :j :j Thank you so much Linzi-hopefully I will be trying it out tomorrow and will let you all know how it goes. I don't think I will do a full chicken, maybe chicken breasts as none of us eat legs etc!

Just to let you all know that I made the marinade (altered it to not make so much) and used it on chicken breasts...it tasted as good as it looked on the TV! Fab recipe, thanks again Linzi x

Seems like a lot of work.... And heating the house up with the oven for over an hour... Let me know if it's worth it!

It's actually really easy to make and because I only used chicken breasts they only took 20 minutes in the oven, in which time I also had jacket potatoes in, so not too bad really. And it is worth it!
