The song was Figure It Out by Royal Blood played at 11.50am and repeated at 5.36pm.

Just some advice for tomorrow and the rest of the days the competition has to run, if you download the Absolute Radio app to a smart phone or tablet, as a song is playing it tells you what song is going to play next, I wouldn't listen to the show this way though as there is a long laps between listening on a DAB radio and via the app. But by seeing the next song to be played it gives you a bit of an advantage in that you can check through the playlist on the website to see if the next song has already been played, then it's a case of trying to get through!

I had the number on my phone as soon as the song started playing I hit call, pressed 1 for the studio, and was greated by "sorry all our lines are busy" how quickly do you have to call? I even tried using 2 phones at a time, not easy, I did think about trying 3 phones, 2 mobiles and a landline but I gave up as it was 9 minutes since the song had started, and lines are open for 10 minutes according to the T's & C's. It does say they will take as many calls as they can, but I'm starting to doubt that and think that it could be 1st one through is the winner, surely a simple text in when the song is repeated type of competition would be better!

I've been using the playlist and listening online although as you say, it's a bit behind, but often if you refresh the playlist before that current song ends it will come up with the next song on.

Was gutted last night I listened the whole day but just missed out on the repeated song whilst having my dinner

It's just been played Coldplay - Viva La Vida, was played this morning. Called the second it started. Impossible to get through!

Called just after it started and kept ringing back for the whole 10 mins afterwards but the line was constantly busy, now it just keeps ringing and ringing after 10 mins is over

Yes I know what you mean, Feel like i've not done anything but sit listening to it this week. If the weather's a bit better next week I might not even bother with it.
