Apoquel - anyone's pet on this one?

Zara has been on Apoquel for a while now and it is impossible to get it anywhere but from the vets and even vets have problems sourcing it. General shirtage all over the place.

She is on 1.5 tablet per day (16mg tablets) and it comes to around £120.00 per month. With her other meds I get prescription from the vets and order online but Apoquel is not available anywhere ar all...

Hi don't know if this helps but just googled it and found a company called vet dispense who have it, its in stock and £2.90 a tablet. Another company called viovet have it but limited stock. Good luck. I know just how expensive medication is from vets.

Thanks, I googled too.
2.90 per tablet is more expensive than vet prices (I pay 117 for 45 tablets, that is a month supply and works out at 2.60 per tablet).
Viovet does not have them at all. Says limited stock but when you select 16mg says not in stock... Pity as their prices are much better.

I really just wanted to know if anyone else's pet is on thos tablets?

There has been a manufacturer problem for a very long time now as it has had very good results and they cant make it fast enough. Most places at one point were given an allocated amount. Not sure if thats still happening though

Yup, still happening. My vet luckily has supplies but it is a worry every time I need to reorder as nothing else worked for Zara and Apoquel does
