Hi Anniestar,
I envy you your gardenful of birds. Ours used to be the same. We also had "too many house sparrows to count" a few months ago - now, not one left.
As I said in the post you quoted, I know not all cats are so destructive. But some are. The cat I'm talking about brings four or five bodies home every morning, according to his owner, and also leaves a trail of corpses up and down the street.
The discussion shouldnt be polarised into 'all cats are evil' versus 'all cats are angels' - but acknowledge the truth that cats have a big impact on wildlife in suburban areas. What would you do if a neighbour's cat killed all the birds in your garden? Wouldn't you be upset?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
