Anyone answer the emails with Archerfish? I have just clicked on one of the emails 'Clear Law' and it has thrown up a virus.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We regret to announce that www.archerfish.co.uk has now been closed down.

Because our major payment processor has decided that Archerfish was "in violation of their Acceptable Use Policy", we have been told to remove all references to their payment system from our site.

This is a complete bolt from the blue, as we have had a mutually beneficial TEN YEAR trading relationship - and in that time, no mention was ever made of "unacceptable use".

Therefore, since their system will not be available for payment to members, or for payment from advertisers, and cheque payments will be too costly to implement, we have no choice but to shut down the site.

We will, however, be paying members who have been actively clicking for the last 60 DAYS, and who have an account balance of £3.00 or more. This will take some time to arrange, so please be patient while we arrange payment in order of amount accrued, i.e. higher balances will be paid first. The payments will be made using the payment method specified in members' account profiles.

We will also compensate advertisers who have clicks remaining on their purchased ads.

May we take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported us over the last ten years, and hope that you will be able to find an alternative Paid to Click site that has not yet been ruined by over-zealous interpretation of the payment provider's Terms of Service.

N.B. once outstanding payments have been made, members' personal information will be deleted from the system, and not stored elsewhere.
