Multiple entries on different sites in same brand?

Does anyone know if you are allowed to enter what appear to be the same competitions on different sites across the Global umbrella, e.g. LBC, Smooth, Heart etc?
The T's & C's state something like:
"In order to make a valid entry into a Competition you must enter as an individual using your legal name and make only one entry per Competition",
but does this refer to once on the site, or across the brand?
I know that this subject has been touched upon, but I couldn't find the answer to this specifically with reference to global.
I thought that it might be a good idea to get peoples feed back on as many brands as possible with multiple sites, for example Bauer media, Time inc.
