well
i think my credit report is ok
hard to understand
mostly catalogues where i have a high credit limit but no outstanding balance (all paid for n no missed payments etc)
boyfriends was complicated
he had a default on his from a bank
he had missed mortgage payments (towards the end of selling his house which he had with his ex as they were splitting up and she quit her job)
anyway his credit rating is only 234!!!!
cantt get a detailed one for me at the mo- trying
anyway he is still financially connected to his ex and she has loads of money problems!!!
i think we can dissaccoiate (sp) her with him
what can we do about this?
and will we be laughed out of the bank/mortgage providers office??
especially as i have only gone self-employed in february?
i am so down about the whole thing
b/f only got in debt/troubl when he bought a house with his ex in 2001, he left 2003
and has been ok since that

just a thought, if this thread is still active - but you will also need to consider legal fees, survey fees and associated set up costs of the mortgage. In the end it will be worth it, so if you can scrape the money together and manage to afford the mortgage repayments - go for it. It may be tight for a few years but there is nothing more satsfying than owning your own home! Good luck.I came, I saw, I did a little browsing.0
