Exactly my line of thinking. Paying the debt and having it satisfied would improve the credit score, paramount importance to a mortgage application I believe?
It was mentioned in this thread that creditors won't bother with amounts that might no be worth court costs. If that's so then surely the amount owed would be small enough that paying the debt/s would give far more benefit mortgage interest rate wise than say, not paying the amount/s owed?
I am bankrupt due to mental health issues so I'm totally non-judgemental on these things, curious situation though when you have the choice.0
