deVere group job offer

Hi folks,
I'll be brief, I've been offered a webinar and possible job interview by the deVere group. I've done a little digging around on the internet and thus far have found out the following:
The group appears to offer financial advice to multinational expats.
Historically there have been some problems with the proposed investments, seemingly linked to the recent market crash.
given the offer this advice multi nationally they do not fall under UK regulation.
The training offered is slightly dubious but they seem to say I (if i get/want the job) would be internationally certified as an IFA.
My questions are:
Is it a dodgy company?
Has anyone on here worked for them? If so what was their experience?
Realistically how useful would this be as a stepping stone in a career?
Realistically what (if any use) would their training/certification be?
Any help with this would be great!
Many thanks!

Lots of info here, ignore the reviews intended for the hotel group.

I have an acquaintance that works for them in Dubai. He loves it, his family are now settled there and have a good standard of living. It wouldn't be for me but I wouldn't/ can't do sales.0
