Moving out but continuing to pay mortgage

My partner owns his house with his father and they have a small (re)mortgage which my partner pays. My partner is planning to move in with me and continue paying the mortgage.. We're just a bit worried about updating addresses - will he just easily be able to update his new address on the mortgage and continue paying or do the terms change if the person paying moves out?

I've typed various things into Google but haven't managed to find the answers! Going to the bank to ask is tricky to fit in due to his working hours.
