As mentioned in a previous post I have recently been discharged.
Going BR has been the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, yet probably one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I have felt like I haven't lived for a year. I have felt like a failure for not paying back what I promised I would. I haven't told anyone apart from two close family members because I can't face how others might react.
My only source of knowledge and advice has been this forum. I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that this exists and how amazing it is that people give up their own time to answer queries and provide reassurance whether it be the dedicated poster or the occasional need to know poster. I haven’t contributed anything to this forum. I simply don't have the knowledge.
I know many have contributed along the way (so apologies for anyone missing) but I wanted to give a big thank you to fermi, tigerfeet, alastairq, the gardener and the guys from national debtline for all of the sound and non-judgmental advice. I hope you keep up the good work
