Help finding unsecured loan

Hello i was wondering if anyone could direct me to somewhere i would get accepted for an unsecured loan with bad credit? Im only looking for around 1500 which i could repay over 6 months. The loan is for consolidating stupid little debts ive accumulated over the past few years i just want to get rid of them so i can start building my credit back up. As im 24 now i really want to put all this behind me so i can save to get a mortgage any help is really appreciated!

Not what you want to hear but getting a loan is the last thing you should be doing. Have a look at debt free wannabe board and see if you can pay off your debt without borrowing more.

if you can afford to pay back the 1,500 (plus interest) over 6 months, then just use that money to pay the stupid little debts over the same period
  • consolidating isnt putting it behind you, its just moving it.

If you could find a loan with the information you have supplied, the interest would be likely be very high so take your £250 a month (plus interest) and pay your debts off.

    So very true.

If you can afford to pay £1.5k, then use that to pay off the debts you owe.

It may come as a surprise to you, but companies are getting rather loath to lend money to people with bad credit, as people with bad credit seem to have problems paying them back - Wonga, Welcome Finance, etc, etc.

What you are suggesting does not get rid of them, it just moves the debt.

As suggested, get over to the debt free wannabe board. There you will get some good advice on clearing your debt.

Weird that. That companies should be reluctant to lend to people with a bad credit record.
As has been said already. Moving your debts to somewhere else is not clearing them. To clear them you need to repay them. If you can pay £1.5k in a few months, then why are you not applying the spare money to the debts you have. Thus avoiding the hassle of trying to change your lender.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
