Advice about 2nd property

Already have a buy to let mortgage on a property which was my main home in Wales with only 11years left on mortgage. Now living in northern Ireland and renting. Trying to decide if I should carry on renting and be mortgage free in 11 years or buy a second property and will end up with two properties with 25 year mortgages?

IMO it's a personal choice, mainly about where you fancy staying for the long term.
I don't know the markets in either NI or Wales, however, so that may influence the advice others give.💙💛 💔0
