I will turn 60 at the end of this year and apart from the free bus pass,are there any other benefits I should be applying for? I already receive an occupational pension.

Thank you for your replies but having read all information.as far as I can gather I wont get fuel allowance until 2021 when I qualify for the state pension, and not eligible for any other help

Well if you have a Boots Card you get a small discount each time you shop with them, think its 5%???:j:j My friend gets it and it kicked in when she turned 60.

No, you get 10 times points on your Boots loyalty card when you buy Boots branded products. No actual discount.
