My food cupboard/larder where I keep all my tinned and packet food is suddenly a lot less cool after next door's boiler was installed on the other side of its back wall. In fact it's not far off feeling like an airing cupboard in there now.
I'm assuming that it's no big deal when it's just been for a few days, but longer-term ought I to shift everything to a different cupboard? Or is it not important in practice, where things are unopened? I don't want food poisoning, but there isn't an obvious other cupboard to move everything to, so if it's no big deal I'd sooner leave it all where it is.
Any thoughts?

Hi,
I'm assuming whatever is stored in the cupboard is perfectly okay stored there in which case it will be fine. Tins and packet type food will be fine.
Lets face it when were you last cold in a supermarket and they have all sorts of food on the shelf. Whatever needs to be in the fridge is in the fridge or freezer. Everything else is out on the shelves.0 -

Is there any way you could add some ventilation to the cupboard, so that the heat doesn't build up in there so much?0

I think I'm going to shift all my towels and stuff in there and the tins and packets somewhere else. That should confuse guests!0
