Mis Sold an Endowment? How do I Complain?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site, so be gentle with me!

I'm considering making a complaint about my endowment. I have a projected shortfall of between £4 ,000 - £11,000.

I understand that I have to complain to the financial advisor who sold me the policy, but as I am not very eloquent in such matters, I wonder if there are any sites that anyone recommended where I could print template letters of complaint specifically for this purpose (I remember I used a template letter for complaining about mortgage exit fees, passed on by a friend).
