Hi
My husband and I are separating and I am looking to buy him out of our house. I am applying for a Halifax mortgage but for the last 5 months haven't been registered at the property I'm buying as I've been living at a friend's. Will this affect me getting the mortgage? Do I give the current address (I'm registered for council tax etc there) or do I saty the house I'm buying is my current address? I meet all of the criteria for the mortgage but will this address issue affect me getting an offer.
Please help me I'm panicking like mad about this.
