Deutsche Bank calls time on London prime property party

Couple of notes from the larger article...
Or, they could be wrong and it may well be different this time.

That everyone strongly believes they will continue to go up further is a cause for anxiety. Still, timing any turn is hard and it has long been a losing battle to call an end to the froth in this market. But perhaps we are close to the turning point.
Valuations are high relative to history, falling interest rates cannot provide further support, and given current affordability home ownership cannot rise materially. London’s property is unlikely to enjoy the next 30 years as it did the last.

Oh right.
You realise that nearly every single thread on this forum links up to an article for reference to what the discussion is about?
So are you going to take issue in the same vein with all threads? Or just particular threads? Hence why I asked if you didn't care much for the content?0 -
I've been calling the top on London property since I had the chance to go 50:50 on my brother-in-laws Bermondsey council flat.
That was 1994 and we turned it down because it was just too expensive - we could've had it for about £45k!
Eventually someone will call the top and be right to much fanfare. I expect their correct prediction will come after many incorrect attempts to call the top. Bloomberg will invite them to share their expertise.0 -
