Apart from comps for real fur or ones that we don't fit the demographic of that would involve lying I don't really avoid anything, but I only enter for what we would like or use.

If you can find another comp for The Play That Goes Wrong then definitely enter, the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society are really good, we saw them in Leeds do Peter Pan Goes Wrong and really enjoyed it.

  • I'm also veggie and don't enter anything that I would feel was supporting hunting, the meat-trade etc.

I also don't enter any of the payday loan type comps, as I wouldn't like to think that my tweet or whatever might encourage someone to use their services.

I don't enter things where I feel I would be taking a much needed prize away from someone else eg medical or special dietary requirements etc.

Other than those, I enter for anything my family and I could make use of, or could easily sell to raise much needed cash. If I do sell, I always sell at a very low price - that way I think that two people have won - both myself and the person who has got a bargain!

I would never enter for anything run by the Sun - the thought of even clicking through to one of its pages makes me feel sick.
Other than that, like many others I don't do the payday loan companies. There are plenty of other companies whose comps I avoid but they are less to do with morals and more to do with not being interested in what's on offer.

Oh yes the sun.. Would never buy or read their paper again and I feel the same about their comps but confess I have been caught out before on ones associated by them on TW.
  • Regarding 'Who's' - I realised as soon as I had posted it but unfortunately you can only edit the post not the title as far as I can work out! If anyone know how to edit a title, please let me know.

(And no, I don't read trashy books!)

To edit the title you need to "go advanced".

That will of course make my earlier comments look odd but I am prepared to accept this for the greater good.

Nothing wrong with trashy books only badly written ones.

I would actually be quite happy at taking money off the hands of a company I don't like (if there was no sharing/tweeting involved).

I prefer haggis as being its own plural like sheep.

That should be neep and tatties.
