I'm having a gingerbread decorating party and need 8 or 9 gingerbread house kits. A lot of the ones I find when searching online are £20 each! Has anyone seen any around that are cheaper? I'm looking for ones that are pre baked and preferably come with ready to use icing. Thank you

Always worthwhile checking in ALDI or LIDL as they usually do something like this for christmas...I cant imagine that they would be anywhere near the £20 mark....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Home bargains had them last year for either £1.99 or £2.99 each - if you have one close.
I always find aldi have pre-decoratted ones.0 -
Ikea do them too, but they don't come with any extra bits for decorating - you could buy tubes of writing icing and small sweets from the supermarket though.

Aldi currently have cookie cutters especially for making gingerbread houses in their special buys0

Lidl have them at about £5 mark - saw them tonight, but not very big and didnt pick them up to look what was in them. Definitely prebaked and cut gingerbread sheets though.0
