Amazon £7 promo code is only for items sold by Amazon

I got the £7 promotional code for buying a £30 gift card and it's to be used on "products listed in Amazon.co.uk's online catalogue sold by Amazon". But how to do I find out which products are sold by Amazon? Is there a search filter? Everything I've looked at so far is not valid for the code.

I think all Amazon prime stuff is sold by Amazon so you could filter by that?0

I don't have Prime membership but I'll try searching that area now. Thanks.
Edit: I've had a look at Amazon Prime just has deals for those with membership, like free films. And it looks like you can get any purchase under Amazon Prime to get next day delivery.0 -
I've got the answer:
In your search results, a filter for "seller" should appear once you get down to the department level.
Hope that helps others having the same problem!0 -
Does anyone know if you can buy the £30 gift card using gift card funds already in your Amazon account?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

I don't see why not. You have to be offered the £7 promo code offer though as it's not automatic. Log in to your account and you'll know if you've been offered it or not.0

Try it. You'll know before paying. The new gift card gets delivered the next day and then the email with the £7 promo code comes the day after.0

If you look in the T&C's when you go to pay I think I saw that you cant use gift card/voucher as payment because I was going to buy yesterday but stopped.
The other thing is you have to buy only Amazon stuff but you have to spend £20 to get free delivery unless Prime member don't you?0 -
Boohoo is right, I just tried and the option to use gift card balance at the payment stage is not there, only cards. Shame

I'll probably use my £7 promo code on the 4 for the price of 3 grocery promotion during October. Plenty of choice.0
