Further to THIS discussion I thought it best to point out a url they may need editing. Both links below point to the same comp page.

Looking at the Mamas & Papas advent as an example, the current link is : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=69687867

If I change that to t=, as your post suggests the link no longer works.

The reason some of the links might not have been working is because 1) people are using the Spam button, which automatically gets it removed and 2) because a link has been posted to a duped post which is later removed when the two posts are merged.

Just to help out, in this forum p= refers to an individual post, t= refers to a thread. Changing p to t won't work, eg the Mamas & Papas thread is https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5376287 the current link is https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/69687867#Comment_69687867 and points at post 1 in that thread. Just a technicality but depending on who copied the link, it might point to a post further down the thread and you'd have to scroll up to find the comp link.
It's just a foible on this type of forum, like they say s**t happens. It's Christmas after all. :-)

ahh ok, that makes sense.

I did move most of the "#post232244" type bits of the URL's as I was adding them, did miss a few, but they should all be gone now.
