Don't forget to update the Vendor, if it goes on too long without any info they may re market the property

Yes, I need to wait til Tipton gives any answer. Miracles some time happens. MA has collected hes fee anyway.
Just noticed that Tipton made search on may file- "money laundering search".
It was bad idea go with EA adviser.

Vendor accepted offer just 7 working days ago. So I still have a bit of time - will see what next week brings .

I think your broker would be more than happy to refund the fee under the circumstances, especially if you suggest making a complaint for wasting your time and doing needless credit searches.

I would see how Tipton get on but in the meantime I would be making back up plans.

If you do swap broker, there are plenty who will only take their fee on successful completion of purchase. It might be worth finding one of those to minimise any possible further losses if something goes wrong again.
  • Thanks ACG

Do you think I need to find a new MA and go to speak with him?
Tipton is paper based and can take long time to process.

Is your current broker not putting in place a back up?
If not then I think so yes. Explain to them an application is in but you do not fit criteria so you are expecting it will get declined.

At least they then know a credit check has been carried out and that it might be a few days before you commit.

Also, as Lungboy suggests it might be worth finding a broker where fees are only payable on results.

If this does not get accepted though, I think you are in a strong position to get your money back as they have done more harm than good. If they say they will transfer it over to a new application blah blah blah, if you are not happy just ask for it back. They may have cocked up, a normal person would just want to make the best of a bad situation and try to put it right.

  • No, he has not suggested what we can do if its rejected. All he says is - I think it should be ok-.
I would believe him if he did contacted Tipton about issues before applying, but he didn`t.
If I`m rejected then I have 2 searches on file.
I guess it`s time to look for new MA, anybody knows good one in Stourbridge area?

So there have been some movement. 28.10. I can see searches have been done on Noddle. And yesterdau they come back to me asking P60 and proof of deposit. Maybe I`m super lucky after all...
