Santander slow or fast??

Hi there, just wondering, as the title suggests, how slow or fast (hopefully) are Santander for getting to offer?

Are you applying to Santander direct or are you using a mortgage broker?

The "Intermediaries" websites often give a good indication of how backed up they are:

I applied to Santander with a broker and it took a week from application to full written offer :)
  • That's awesome! My amazingly patient broker has applied! Fingers crossed

They are lightening fast when you and they get it right. Painful, when it goes wrong.

  • Really? My broker submitted the forms today. I bank with them too so hoping that helps in some small, logical way....although I won't hold my breath!
  • As amnblog says - if the wheels stay on their applications are painless - get it wrong and there is a world of pain out there !
