I have not been as active this year but think I have about £50. This will pay for the food I need to take home for Christmas (and booze!) so hopefully I can update when I open. Thanks for all the support x

Well, at least you've saved some which is great and will certainly come in handy for you. Please don't forget to declare it on the thread (link on the 1st post above) or around the 5th.
We start again on a new thread (SPC 9) which begins just after midnight of the 5th, in other words very early on the morning of the 6th. How about making a resolution to do better this next year! Join us weekly on the thread, that way you'll be motivated and...save!!

hi all, I joined this many years ago when I first joined mse, however family, uni, work and becoming a single parent have all taken their toll on being able to do the challenge.
I'm going to get myself a pot and get it ready for the 6th and start this properly.
I really need to save some money and I would love to have some saved for christmas next year.

I'm so pleased you're ready to have another shot, come and join us on the thread, that in itself is such motivation, it spurs us all to want to save that 50p we were about to spend recklessly, or just a few pence that was going back in our purses and would be spent without even thinking about it.
From there on it all adds up! Before you know it the pot begins to feel heavy....then the excitement begins and you get addicted! It makes such a huge difference when we save whatever we can whenever we can, and means there's money in the pots at a time when we really do need it.
Come and join us now while you're geared up to save. Yes, we finish this year's on the 5th Nov but you can start straight away and be on your way to having money behind you!
