Address Help

This is the pickle;

Bank Account & 2 CC registered at my parents home but I've been living & paying rent in a private property for the last 3 years.

What address do I apply with?
If I apply with the parents won't they ban ask where £600 is going per month?

Help please?!

    What does your driving licence say?

    Where are you on the electoral register?

    Electronic register rented property
  • Just update your bank account address to your current rented address. Explain that to the mortgage provider.

    If your licence is wrong there is a nice fine for it.

    Have your broker decide which address to use for application once they have the information.

    Does changing address at bank or CC affect credit rating?!

    Pretty sure the fine is only if you're caught driving with it, mine was wrong for two years when I wasn't using a car. I don't believe they'd fine you for trying to use it as ID for a mortgage but it would be pretty silly to do so if address didn't match other things.

    You should really change this. Is is free to change the address and there is a £1000 fine if you are stopped by the police for any reason

    Start straight away. Change your address to where you live and registered on the electoral roll. Then everything ties together. You cannot change the past.
