I've recently moved into my own place and to keep costs down I write a shopping list including items I will batch cook and freeze. I nip to home bargins ,Aldi then lidl. Anything then left on my list I go to Asda for. I'm not fussed on brands , I'd rather the extra savings in my purse lol3-6 Emergency Fund, No96: £1,000 / £2,000 - House Deposit: £11,000 / £11,000 - Holiday Fund: £100 / £1,300 -

Is it my imagination or is Lidl cheaper than Aldi now?
I shop in both, and there are products that are cheaper in Lidl, and others that are cheaper in Aldi, as well as an awful lot that are the same price.
Personally, I find that where products are sold by both, the Lidl one tends to be marginally better, but they really are very close.0
